I've been neglicting the site lately but I figured I would update the main page after another ham mentioned to me about the QSL information on my website. I did move again back in May so my new QSL information is correct on QRZ.com or the following information:
Timothy Hale
17 Solar Circle
Appleton, WI 54915

If you want a card back I appreciate a SASE but I'm not too worried about it. If you send me a card I will send you one back either way.

I have quite a bit to update on the site so I will make sure to do that within the next few weeks. I've had quite a few projects that I've done. Right now my biggest project is working on my FT-101 EX that I picked up back in 2005 or 2006.
I'll try to upload more information later on.

After waiting for quite sometime I finally upgraded to general. Even though I already upgraded I have been listening to the CW cd's that I bought for myself for Christmas, so hopefully I can get CW down fairly quick.
My first HF contact was Floyd, N5FG. Thanks for the contact and taking the time from your contest for a short ragchew Floyd!
So far my favorite mode while operating HF has been PSK31. I've made quite a few contacts using it and look forward to making quite a few more. My first contact on PSK31 was also a new upgrade, KC0SQK.
I think the best part of this past weekend was making 8 contacts with some DX stations down in the Caribbean.

Here is my QSL information;
Timothy Hale
163 1/2 Main St
Menasha, WI 54952
USA

I will reply to all QSL cards, I normally send QSL cards the following day of the contact. But if you don't get one from me within a week or two feel free to send one my way. I may have accidently skipped you in my log. I don't care if I get a SASE but they are nice. The way I view it is that if you send me a card you WILL get one back from me, as long as you are in the log.
On a side note I am getting low on QSL cards so I will be placing an order for those this Friday (I can finally get some cards with my new addresss on them!). So there may be a slight delay in getting a card from me.

Thanks again to all the stations who have welcomed me to HF!

Well I finally got my Echolink node back on the air last night. I had one running for a couple of months but I ended up selling my soundcard interface after I came up short for rent a couple of months back, but fortunately I can across a great deal at the FCARC Hamfest two weeks ago so now I have the node back up and running on 145.56 simplex 100hz PL tone.
If you'd like more information on how to use my node please check out this PDF file.
I also noticed that my Shack page was pretty out of date so I updated that today as well.

It's been quite a while since I've updated the site but I've been quite busy over the past few months. Hopefully I'll be able to actually finish the site and get some nice articles or something on the site soon.
This weekend was CQ Magazine's World Wide VHF Contest. I participated for a small part of it on 6 meters. I probably would have been on the air longer but I had to get the antenna tuned up for the band which mean't I had to have someone come over to give me a hand with that. Special thanks to Eric, KG8RF, for his help with the antenna tuning. In the short time that I was able to participate I snagged 67 contacts. Might not be that great but for the short amount of time I was operating I thought it was pretty good.

On a side note to any stations that I worked this weekend that may check out my site. I will be sending QSL cards out within the next week however I have not been able to get new cards printed off since my move in the middle of May. The grid square is still CORRECT. The county is incorrect and my current county is Winnebago County. Please send all return QSL cards to:
163 1/2 Main St.
Menasha, WI 54952

If they do get sent to the address on my cards it's not a big deal since it is only my parents address so I'll still receive them.

Today I decided to add the Amber Alert ticker onto the site. It looks out of place on the website but I have no problems with that at all since it is for such a great cause.

Today I updated the page a little bit. I finally got around to adding some some links onto the Links page. I also updated the Projects page since I am now going to try and get involved with kit building a little bit more. It's a fun thing to do that passes time really quickly and can be a challenge at times.
I now know that the Contact Me page IS working so feel free to use that to send me any links that you think I should include on the links page. I am also thinking about adding some more information on different modes used by Amateurs. I know I am going to add something up here soon on APRS and hopefully once I get around to building a interface I can add a few things on here about SSTV and such.

Welcome to KC9FSH.com! Feel free to look around and please leave any comments in the guest book or e-mail me by using the form on the "Contact Me" page. **NOTE**The form may not be working properly at the moment so feel free to e-mail me at: TimatKC9FSH.com. Replace 'at' with @ (this is to trick the e-mail grabbing bots on the net from adding my e-mail address to their lists.)

I pretty much got bored on Saturday and decided to make this site. I used to really be into web design when I was in my early teens but got out of it soon after. I also took a Web Design class my Junior year in high school.

You will notice that there are currently NO images what so ever on this website. Kind of strange for a website with no images on it during this day and age. I'll probably add a few pictures though so then this won't be true. This probably won't happen for a little while though.

I expect that there are many errors on this page but pleast inform me of them if you find any.

Thanks and 73,
Tim
